ACADEMY LEAGUE

Oxford Academy 9, Capistrano Valley Christian 9 (Oxford Academy wins on games, 66-61)
Host Oxford Academy (8-7, 5-4) won all its doubles matches while Capistrano Valley Christian (3-11, 2-8) was victorious in its singles events.

ALPHA LEAGUE

Maranatha 12, Whittier Christian 6
Elizabeth Carpenter swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, including a golden set versus the Heralds’ No. 3 player, Stella Su and Janice Yuen swept at No. 1 doubles for host Maranatha (14-3, 12-0), which clinched the Alpha League championship and will travel as a team to the CIF Division V playoffs for the first time. Whittier Christian dropped to 4-10, 2-9.

BAY LEAGUE

Peninsula 17, South Torrance 1
Tania Mahtani swept her No. 1 singles events without losing a game and No. 2 singles player Rika Tatsuno also swept, 6-0, 7-6, 6-0, to lead visiting Peninsula (14-0, 7-0), the top-ranked team in Division I.

Tiffany Liu and Kaylee Pollitt only dropped one game at No. 2 doubles, winning, 6-0, 6-1, 6-0, and the No. 3 doubles team of Tiffany Teerawatananont and Adeline Yang won, 6-1, 6-3, 6-1, for the Panthers.

South Torrance drops to 11-4, 3-4 in league.

CENTURY LEAGUE

El Modena 18, Brea Olinda 0
No. 1 singles player Lisa Hardebeck swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-1, and Anna Cottle swept her No. 3 singles events by the same score for host El Modena (13-2, 7-1). Brea falls to 2-5 in league.

FOOTHILL LEAGUE
Valencia 17, Burbank Burroughs 1All three doubles teams and the No. 1 and 3 singles players all swept for host Valencia (13-1, 8-0).

FREEWAY LEAGUE

Troy 18, Sunny Hills 0
Jeniffer Chow and Erica Liao swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 3 doubles to lead visting Troy (13-2, 7-0), which is the No. 2-ranked team in the CIF Southern Section Division II coaches’ poll. Sunny Hills dropped to 5-2 in league.

MISSION LEAGUE

Harvard-Westlake 13, Chaminade 5
Amber Harper and Jenniffer Kaswick swept their No. 1 doubles events, 6-4, 6-1, 6-0, to lead host Harvard-Westlake (9-3, 6-0), which is the No. 7-ranked team in the Division I coaches’ poll. Chaminade is 11-2, 5-1 in league.

MONTVIEW LEAGUE

Gladstone 17, La Puente 1
No. 1 singles player Liz Ortiz swept, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0, for Gladstone (11-2, 7-0).

PACIFIC COAST LEAGUE

Corona del Mar 10, Tesoro 8
Corona del Mar (13-2, 7-0), ranked No. 3 in the CIF Southern Section Division I coaches’ poll, won seven of nine doubles matches. Tesoro, which is the third-ranked team in Division I, drops to 12-2, 5-2.

Northwood 9, Laguna Beach 9 (Northwood wins on games, 61-55)
No. 1 singles player Jonna Pattugalan won, 1-6, 6-0, 6-0, and Catherine Yoo won her No. 2 singles events, 4-6, 6-1, 6-0, for host Northwood (8-7, 3-4). Laguna Beach is 11-4, 4-3 in league.

RIO HONDO LEAGUE

La Canada 13, Temple City 5
Kelly Fox swept, 6-0, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 1 singles for La Canada (10-2, 6-0). Jennifer Young and Jennifer Tan won two sets, 6-3 and 6-1, at No. 1 doubles for Temple City (8-6, 3-3).

SAN GABRIEL VALLEY LEAGUE

Gahr 13, Paramount 5
Mallory Wang swept, 6-4, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles, Ellen Chiu swept, 6-1, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 2 singles and the No. 1 doubles team of Susan Lin and Karina Vega and the No. 2 doubles team of My Hong and Karla Vega also swept for host Gahr (11-4, 6-3). Paramount dropped to 3-6 in league.

SERRA LEAGUE

Rosary 18, Bishop Amat 0
The No. 1 doubles team of Krista Gorciak and Brittany Hall swept all three matches only dropping one game in the win for host Rosary (7-9, 4-3). Bishop Amat is 0-7 in league.

SOUTH COAST LEAGUE

Dana Hills 17, El Toro 1
The No. 1 doubles team of Emma Bronowicki and Katie Debowski swept their sets, 6-0, 6-0, 6-1, for the host Dolphins (14-3, 8-0), ranked No. 6 in the Southern Section Division I coaches’ poll. El Toro fell to 4-4 in league.

Mission Viejo 9, San Clemente 9 (Mission Viejo wins on games 85-81)
Mission Viejo improves to 8-4, 5-3.

SOUTHWESTERN LEAGUE

Chaparral 14, Rancho Verde 4
Brittany Lougher swept her No. 1 singles events, 6-2, 6-0, 6-1, and No. 2 singles player Lexie Gascon also swept, 6-1, 6-0, 6-2, to lead host Chaparral.

Nazlie Ghazal and her sister Nellie won two doubles sets, 6-0, 6-2, before being subbed out for the Pumas (9-6, 5-1). Rancho Verde is 3-11, 1-5 in league.

SUNSET LEAGUE

Huntington Beach 17, Esperanza 1
No. 1 singles player Lauren Pascoe swept all three matches without losing a game and the No. 1 doubles team of senior Amy Kaufman and sophomore sister Stacy also swept, 6-0, 6-1, 6-0, to lead host Huntington Beach (11-2, 5-2).

Freshmen Jennifer Heumann and Monica Stupaczuk also swept their No. 2 and 3 singles events, respectively, for the Oilers.

Los Alamitos 10, Fountain Valley 8
The No. 2 doubles team of Jocelyn Liu and Katie Moore won two out of three sets, 2-6, 6-3, 6-1, to give Los Alamitos (9-2, 6-1) the edge at Fountain Valley (11-3, 5-2).

The Griffins are tied for No. 10 in the CIF Southern Section Division II coaches’ poll and the Barons are ranked No. 8 in the same poll.

SUNSHINE LEAGUE

Marlborough 17, Marymount 1

Arcadia 15, Mayfield 3
No. 1 doubles team of Alda Karic and Lisa Li swept, 6-1, 6-0, 6-3, and No. 3 singles player Anna Higane won two of three sets to lead host Arcadia (18-0, 8-0), ranked No. 4 in Division II.

Upland 14, Redlands East Valley 4
Amanda Donson and Juliann Tang swept at No. 1 doubles and Catherine Wilson and Megan Yeh swept at No. 2 doubles for host Upland (16-1). Redlands East Valley is tied at No. 10 in the Division II coaches’ poll.

Westlake 18, La Reina 0
The No. 1 doubles team of Kate Edwards and Marissa Cowan swept, 6-0, 6-0, 6-1, and Tiffany Russell and Lauren Davies swept their No. 3 doubles sets by the same score to lead host Westlake (8-6, 6-4). La Reina is 6-5, 4-2.
