David Axelrod: In the Feb. 16 Calendar section, a review of the book “Believer: My Forty Years in Politics” by David Axelrod said that then-Gov. George Ryan’s candidacy for the 2004 U.S. Senate race in Illinois collapsed after the release of divorce files. The Senate candidate whose campaign collapsed after the release of divorce files was former investment banker Jack Ryan.
Movita Castaneda obituary: In the Feb. 17 California section, the obituary of actress Movita Castaneda, Marlon Brando’s second wife, misspelled the last name of Brando’s first wife. Her name is Anna Kashfi, not Khashi.
Royal’s home: In the Feb. 17 California section, an article about an appellate court’s ruling that a Saudi Arabian prince must seek an environmental review before building a compound in Benedict Canyon misidentified Prince Abdulaziz ibn Abdullah ibn Abdulaziz al Saud as Abdulaziz ibn Abdulaziz al Saud.
