Punjabi pumpkins: In the Oct. 31 Food section, an article about cooking pumpkin Punjab-style at Badmaash misspelled chef Pawan Mahendro’s first name as Nawan.

TiVo data: In the Nov. 6 Business section, a column about TiVo’s use of customer data said that subscribers have no choice but to cancel their service if they don’t want TiVo to share their personal information with marketers. The company’s privacy policy, however, says users can opt out of having viewing choices used for marketing and other purposes.

George Barris: In the Nov. 6 California section, the obituary of car customizer George Barris said Barris painted “Little Bastard” on the Porsche Spyder that actor James Dean was driving in the 1955 crash that killed him. The painting was done by Dean Jeffries, who rented space at Barris’ shop in Compton.
