InfoSpan lawsuit: In the May 8 Business section, an article about a trade-secrets lawsuit stated that a judge found “striking similarities” between InfoSpan’s SpanCash and Emirates NBD’s MeMobile digital-cash product. In fact, the judge cited the “allegedly striking similarities” and other evidence in ruling the case could move to trial. Also, the article said InfoSpan had an earlier business selling computer components. In fact, a company called BAS Micro Inc. sold those components.

Financial advisors: In a Monday Business article in the May 9 Section A, a photo caption with an article about changes in the financial management industry misstated the name of a co-founder of the 1080 Financial Group. He is Matt Stadelman, not Stableman.
