Cadiz pipeline: In the Oct. 17 California section, an article about the federal government allowing Cadiz Inc. to use a railroad right-of-way for its water pipeline said the company had lobbied the Interior Department to rescind a 2011 legal opinion. Cadiz lobbied the department to rescind a 2015 decision to deny use of the right-of-way.

Business preview: In the Oct. 15 Business section, the Coming Monday item highlighted an article about the holiday travel season that was supposed to run the next day. The article was not published, and instead the Oct. 16 section featured a story about no-frills flights.
