Wisconsin unions: In the March 11 LATExtra section, a question and answer box about a bill in the Wisconsin legislature concerning labor rules for government workers said the legislation would limit collective bargaining to base wages, and performance and other supplemental pay. In fact, performance and other supplemental pay, as well as overtime, would not be subject to collective bargaining under the legislation.

Derek Fisher: An article in the March 8 Sports section about Lakers guard Derek Fisher and his role as president of the NBA Players Assn. said Forbes magazine reported that 12 of the 30 NBA teams lost money last season. In fact, Forbes said 17 teams had operating losses.

Mel Gibson: In the March 10 LATExtra section, an article about Mel Gibson’s agreement with prosecutors over allegations that he had assaulted his former girlfriend quoted publicist Howard Bragman as saying the actor’s decision not to fight a domestic violence charge would probably hurt his career. The article should have noted that Bragman at one point had agreed to represent the girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, as her publicist, although the two did not go forward with the arrangement.

Luxury development: An article in the March 8 Business section about a housing and retail project planned by Rick Caruso on Burton Way at La Cienega Boulevard included a map that had two streets labeled as Beverly Boulevard. The street a few blocks south of Beverly Center that was incorrectly labeled Beverly Boulevard is actually Wilshire Boulevard.
