MOCA board: A photo caption accompanying an article in the July 13 Calendar section about recent departures from the board of the Museum of Contemporary Art said that Kathi Cypres had resigned from the board. Her three-year term ended in June and she did not seek to renew it. Also, the July 13 article and a previous article on MOCA layoffs in the July 7 Calendar section said that MOCA had laid off five staffers. The museum has laid off seven people, five full-time and 2 part-time employees.

Woody Guthrie: An article in the July 11 Calendar section about Woody Guthrie said that a new boxed CD set, “Woody at 100,” includes “Hobo’s Lullaby” and identified it as being one of his “cornerstone songs.” The song, a favorite of Guthrie’s, was written by Goebel Reeves.
