Watergate-era reforms: An article in the June 17 Section A about the rollback of many Watergate-era reforms said that the U.S. Supreme Court, in its Citizens United decision, threw out the decades-old ban on corporate contributions to political campaigns. The decision permitted corporations to make unlimited political expenditures, though they are still prohibited from giving directly to candidates or party committees.
Women’s motorcycles: An article in the June 9 Business section about women and motorcycles misspelled the last name of Genevieve Schmitt, founder of WomenRidersNow.com, as Schmidt.
“They’re Playing Our Song”: A photo caption with an article in the June 16 Calendar section about the long collaboration of actress Lucie Arnaz, comedian Robert Klein and composer Marvin Hamlisch referred to the musical they worked on together as “Their Playing Our Song.” It’s “They’re Playing Our Song.”
Motorcycle car: An article in the May 26 Business section about Lit Motors’ untippable motorcycle misidentified one of the schools attended by Lit’s founder, Daniel Kim. He attended the Rhode Island School of Design, not the Rhode Island Institute of Design.
