Earthquake: 3.3 quake strikes near The Geysers

A shallow magnitude 3.3 earthquake was reported Thursday morning near The Geysers, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 12:47 a.m. PST at a depth of 0.6 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 13 miles from Healdsburg, 16 miles from Windsor and 69 miles from Sacramento.

In the past 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
