A San Diego man was sentenced Tuesday for biting off another man’s fingertip during a fight at a Beyoncé-Jay Z concert at the Rose Bowl last year.

Roberto Alcaraz Garnica, 25, pleaded no contest to one count of mayhem and was sentenced to three years’ probation for the Aug. 2 assault, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

He was also ordered to serve 30 days of community service, 52 weeks of anger management and 40 days in County Jail.

Prosecutors say Garnica pushed a woman into a row of seats at the concert in Pasadena. Her husband confronted him and a fight ensued.

Garnica punched the woman’s husband and then completely bit off the tip of the man’s left index finger, prosecutors said.

More than 55,000 fans packed the Rose Bowl to watch Beyoncé and Jay Z perform.

It is unclear whether Beyoncé or Jay Z saw the brawl.
