Crime reports are up significantly for the latest week in 17 L.A. neighborhoods, according to an analysis of LAPD data by the Los Angeles Times’ Crime L.A. database.
Thirteen neighborhoods reported a significant increase in violent crime. Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw (A) was the most unusual, recording 14 reports compared with a weekly average of 4.7 over the last three months.
Hancock Park (N) topped the list of four neighborhoods with property crime alerts. It recorded 17 property crimes compared with its weekly average of 7.5 over the last three months.
