Man found dead of apparent stabbing near Koreatown
A man was found dead in East Hollywood on Wednesday morning in what appears to be a fatal stabbing, according to police.
Authorities were called at 7:30 a.m. to the 300 block of North Heliotrope Drive, near the border of Koreatown. They found a man who appeared to be in his early 40s and had likely been stabbed to death, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Police were still at the scene at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office had yet to identify the man.
