Two Los Angeles police officers were taken to a hospital in stable condition after their patrol SUV crashed in Boyle Heights early Thursday.
The crash occurred shortly before 5 a.m. near Cesar E. Chavez Avenue and Bridge Street, said LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman.
Eisenman said authorities received a preliminary report that the patrol car had struck two parked cars. Video from the scene showed the front end of the SUV against a tree. It is not clear how the crash occurred.
