Man shot during road rage incident on 91 Freeway in Fullerton

Fullerton police believe road rage led to a shooting Monday afternoon on the eastbound 91 Freeway near the 5 Freeway.

A man was shot multiple times about 4:20 p.m., said Sgt. Andrew Goodrich, spokesman for the Fullerton police.

The victim was able to follow the suspect’s car after the shooting until California Highway Patrol officers were able to locate both parties, Goodrich said.

A suspect was arrested, but no further details were immediately available.

The victim’s injuries are non-life-threatening, police said.

Traffic in the area will be hindered as police continue their investigation.
