San Diego police kill armed suspect in Escondido
San Diego police shot and killed an armed suspect during a traffic stop Wednesday night in suburban Escondido, authorities said.
No officers were harmed during the incident. After the shooting, officers spotted a “suspicious” object in the dead man’s car and called for the bomb squad.
No other details were immediately released.
