Pedestrian killed by train in Oceanside
OCEANSIDE--A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train here early Thursday, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.
The body was found 1,000 feet from the Oceanside Boulevard railroad crossing about 1:30 a.m. The transit enforcement unit of the sheriff’s department is investigating the death.
The county medical examiner is seeking to determine the identity of the pedestrian.
