1 dead, 1 wounded in shooting at East L.A. graduation party
One man was killed and another wounded in a shooting at a graduation party in East Los Angeles early Saturday morning, KTLA-TV reported.
The party was being held at a residence in the 4500 block of East 6th St. when, around 2:30 a.m., LAPD officers responded to a call of shots fired at the gathering, according to KTLA.
Police say an uninvited guest had come to the party and opened fire,
Both shooting victims were transported to an area hospital, where one of them died during surgery. The condition of the other victim was unknown.
The gunman fled the scene and remained at large Saturday morning. He was only described by authorities as an adult male.

KABC-TV reported the victims were shot in the garage of the home.
