Reader Photo: Hustling on Broadway

Share

While it’s a long way from its heyday as a theater district, Broadway in downtown L.A. is still one of the most vibrant and interesting corridors of the city. Music blares out of doorways, stores sell all shapes and sizes of goods and you never quite know what you’re going to see next.

John M. Boylan captured a classic example of life on Broadway in the above photo of a well-dressed gentleman hawking watches of all shapes, sizes and materials on the street.

As Boylan said, “just another day in L.A.”
