Football: Centennial ready to take on Long Beach Poly
The second game of this weekend’s Kickoff Classic at Mission Viejo High is about to start.
Corona Centennial, ranked #2 in the Southland by The Times, will take on #11 Long Beach Poly.
Centennial is led by Tre Watson, who rushed for 785 yards and 12 touchdowns in the Huskies’ first two games. Poly is led by two-way star John “Juju” Smith, who is also dangerous on kick returns.
