Baseball: Area Code Games begin on Monday in Long Beach

College and professional scouts will be out en masse beginning Monday for the Area Code Games at Blair Field in Long Beach.
The Milwaukee Brewers team has most of the high school players from Southern California. Here’s the link to the roster.
Many of the players have already committed to colleges, but this is an opportunity to show what they can do in an all-star setting against top pitchers.
The competition goes through Aug. 9.
