Baseball: Loyola grad Chad Powers leads Princeton to Ivy League championship
Former Loyola standout Chad Powers led Princeton to its first Ivy League championship since 2011 and a berth in the NCAA baseball playoffs.
He was 6-3 with a 2.07 ERA. On Thursday, he was named the Ivy League pitcher of the year.
Three times he has been the Ivy League pitcher of the week. He has a 3.87 grade-point average and is majoring in mechanical and aerospace engineering.
