Basketball: Time for UCLA or USC to bid for state championships
- Share via
The state championships for high school basketball in California are accepting bids to host the event in 2015. Wouldn’t it be great if UCLA or USC made a bid?
The deadline is April 4. The event will not be held at Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento next season.
It could still end up in Northern California next season, but the state CIF is trying to give Southern California a chance at hosting the event.
Playing at Pauley Pavilion or the Galen Center would be so fun for Southern California and Northern California players.
So let’s hope Pat Haden, Dan Guerrero or one of the school administrators decide to make a bid.
