Boys’ basketball: Lorne Currie commits to Long Beach State
Fairfax senior is doing well on the court and in classroom

All-City guard Lorne Currie of Fairfax has committed to Long Beach State.
Currie teamed with Lindsey Drew (Nevada) to lead the Lions to the City Section Open Division championship.
He’s known for his athleticism.
Another guard committing to a Big West school on Monday was Jason Richardson from Gardena Serra. He committed to Cal State Northridge.
