Boys’ soccer: It’s Birmingham vs. El Camino Real in City Section Division I final

The stage is set for quite an ending in the City Section Division I championship boys’ soccer game on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Valley College. It will be West Valley League rivals Birmingham and El Camino Real doing battle.
“We are very excited,” Birmingham Coach EB Madha said. “It should be fun.”
Birmingham lost once and tied once against El Camino Real.
In Tuesday’s semifinals, El Camino Real received four goals from Kayvon Parsa to hold off Monroe, 4-3. Bryan Jimenez scored the only goal on a penalty kick in the second half to enable Birmingham to get past Bell, 1-0.
In a Southern Section Division 1 semifinal, Servite defeated Loyola, 3-2. El Toro defeated Edison, 2-1, in two OTs.
