Cross country: Great Oak wins Southern Section Division 1 titles

There’s no doubt which school holds power in Southern Section cross country. That would be Great Oak, which won titles in Division 1 for boys and girls on Saturday in Riverside.

The top girls’ time of the day was from sophomore Claudia Lane of Malibu. She won Division 4 in 16:30.1. Chloe Arriaga of Walnut won Division 1 in 16:47.5

Ethan Comeaux of Redondo took the Division 1 boys’ title in 14:43.2.
