Football: Lots of talented kickers and punters in SoCal
- Share via
There will be no shortage of outstanding kickers and punters in Southern California high school football this fall.
Junior Kevin Robledo of Westlake burst onto the scene as a sophomore making 20 field goals. That will be hard to duplicate.
Tristan Vizcaino of Damien is committed to Washington State after displaying strong kicking skills over the spring and summer.
Blake Johnson of Los Alamitos is a junior punter who comes from the same school that produced NFL punter Chris Kluwe. He has been booming punts.
Lucas Alfonso of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame has proven his ability to make field goals to win games. Ben Kreitenberg of Chaminade is a junior known for his consistency.
Jesse Kelly of St. Bonaventure and Cole Murphy of Valencia each made long field goals last season. Larry Sanchez of South East and Ethan Erickson of Palisades could be best in the City Section. Sanchez made six of eight field goals last season.
