Randy Rosenbloom to receive media award from coaches association
The California Coaches Association has chosen longtime broadcaster Randy Rosenbloom to receive its Ed Strelow media award on June 13 in San Diego.
It’s given for distinguished contributions to prep sports in California. Rosenbloom, a North Hollywood High grad, has been in sports broadcasting for 40 years.
He has called 12 City Section championships in football and 20 in basketball for various TV units. He currently is a broadcaster for Time Warner Cable and LA36.
