Southern Section to release new playoff divisions May 20 [Updated]
The Southern Section is set to release its new playoff divisions in all sports on May 20. The big news will be made in football, where a revision is expected in the toughest division, the Pac-5.
The Big VIII League, led by Corona Centennial, is expected to be moved into the division. The South Coast League, led by Mission Viejo, is expected to leave the division.
Appeals will be heard and final approval will take place in June.
Correction: An earlier version of this blog said the Southern Section would release playoff divisions on Frday. It will be released on May 20.
