Grizzlies beat Suns, clinch playoff spot

Zach Randolph scored 32 points and the Memphis Grizzlies clinched the final playoff berth in the Western Conference with a 97-91 victory over Phoenix that eliminated the Suns from postseason contention.

The Grizzlies scored the last six points of an intense fourth quarter at Phoenix.

Mike Conley made a three-point shot to put Memphis ahead, 93-91, with 1 minute 8 seconds to play. Goran Dragic threw the ball away on the Suns’ next possession and Randolph scored inside to make it 95-91 with 47.1 seconds left.

at Washington 114, Miami 93: The Heat opted for rest for LeBron James and Chris Bosh over the pursuit of the Eastern Conference’s top seed, and the Wizards breezed in an easy win that clinched the No. 1 seed for the Indiana Pacers. Trevor Ariza scored 25 points for Washington.

at New Orleans 101, Oklahoma City 89: Tyreke Evans scored a career-high 41 points to go with nine rebounds, eight assists and three steals, and the Pelicans ended a losing streak at eight games.

at Houston 104, San Antonio 98: Chandler Parsons scored 21 points and Dwight Howard and Terrence Jones added 20 apiece for the Rockets, who clinched the No. 4 seed in the West.

at Golden State 130, Minnesota 120: Stephen Curry had 32 points and 15 assists for the Warriors, who rallied from 19 points down in the first half. Kevin Love scored 22 of his 40 points in the first quarter for the Timberwolves.

Charlotte 95, at Atlanta 93: Chris Douglas-Roberts sank a short jumper as time expired, and the Bobcats overcame a 15-point deficit in the final period.

at Toronto 110, Milwaukee 100: Greivis Vasquez scored 25 points, Kyle Lowry had 24 and the Raptors set a franchise record with their 48th win. The Bucks (15-66) are guaranteed to have the worst record in the league.

at Philadelphia 113, Boston 108: Michael Carter-Williams had 21 points and 14 rebounds, Tony Wroten scored 20 points, and the 76ers won their final home game of the season.
