Update: The Sparks gave Tulsa its second win of the season Friday, and they remain in fifth place in the Western Conference. They are 21/2 games behind fourth-place San Antonio, which is sitting in the final playoff spot, with six games remaining in the regular season. Seattle, which is in second place, has won three games in a row and is led by Sue Bird, who is averaging 14.7 points and 4.8 assists a game. The Sparks are led by Candace Parker (17.2 points and 9.1 rebounds).
