City Section baseball championships

Saturday at Dodger Stadium

Division I

Chatsworth (24-5) vs. San Fernando (27-6), 2 p.m.

Scouting report: Chatsworth is seeking its ninth City title under Coach Tom Meusborn. The top-seeded Chancellors have all three of their top pitchers available in Angel Rodriguez, Aaron Brown and Christian Lopez. The Tigers are making their first appearance in the final since winning in 1991. No. 2 pitcher Jose Reyes will take over for ace David Lira, who threw 10 innings Wednesday. San Fernando’s William Vazquez might be the hottest hitter in the section.

Division II

L.A. Wilson (13-9) vs. North Hollywood (13-17), 11 a.m.

Scouting report: Freshman ace Andrew Marmor can pitch four innings for North Hollywood, so the Huskies will try to get a lead and close with him. North Hollywood hasn’t won a title since 1957. Junior Andrew Urbina, a three-sport athlete, is expected to be on the mound for Wilson, which has been receiving strong hitting in the playoffs from juniors Angel Aruajo and Martin Vasquez.
