Dallas suffered its first loss in nine games Sunday, 4-1 to Sporting Kansas City. Before the defeat, Dallas had outscored its previous eight opponents, 10-4, earning six wins and two ties. Chivas forward Marcos Mondaini has scored two goals in the last two games, his first games back from a four-game suspension. Mondaini’s spark has helped fill the void left by Venezuelan forward Alejandro Moreno as he has been preoccupied with international duty for most of the month.
