Kings tonight
AT VANCOUVER
When: 7 PDT.
Where: Rogers Arena.
On the air: TV: FS West; Radio: 1150.
Records: Kings 44-26-6, Canucks 51-17-9.
Record vs. Canucks: 2-1-0.
Update: Center Anze Kopitar had surgery Wednesday to repair torn ligaments in his right ankle, an injury he suffered last Saturday. A club spokesman said the surgery was successful and that Kopitar remains out indefinitely. Jonathan Quick is scheduled to start in goal for the Kings, who have a four-game winning streak and have earned points in 10 of their last 11 games. Their magic number for clinching a playoff spot is eight: Any combination of eight points earned by the Kings and/or lost by Dallas will put the Kings in for the second straight season. The Canucks have clinched the top seed in the Western Conference and also have a four-game winning streak.
