Los Angeles Loyola (7-1, 2-0) at Mission Hills Alemany (6-2, 2-0), 7 p.m. Loyola has four future college players in its secondary — Kodi Whitfield (Stanford), Chaz Anderson (Boise State), Eamon McOsker and Cameron Walker. Can Alemany’s athleticism win the day in this Serra League title decider? Loyola will try to control the clock and game behind running back Wyatt Bradford. Alemany quarterback Devon Dunn’s ability to run and pass could be decisive. Loyola’s special teams have been outstanding behind punter Conrad Ukropina. The pick: Loyola.

Narbonne (6-2, 3-0) at San Pedro (8-0, 3-0), 7 p.m. San Pedro has everyone’s attention after shutting out Carson last week. The Pirates can win this Marine League showdown if the passing combination of quarterback Kenny Potter and receiver Mike Whitt can connect. Narbonne quarterback Troy Williams knows how to deliver in big games, and that’s where the Gauchos have an edge. The pick: Narbonne.

Los Angeles Garfield (4-5, 4-1) vs. Los Angeles Roosevelt (5-3, 3-1) at East Los Angeles College, 7:30 p.m. Time Warner Cable, midnight: The 77th meeting between these two rival schools will draw more than 20,000. Throw out the records, because they don’t matter. It’s about who can handle the pressure. Roosevelt quarterback Andony Flores’ ability to run and perform under pressure gives the Rough Riders a real chance to pull off the upset. He has 789 yards rushing. Garfield will turn to running back Lance Fernandez. The pick: Garfield.
