The Cornhuskers return four starters and nine lettermen, six of whom averaged five or more points, from that team, which posted a 19-13 record. Led by guard Caleb Walker’s 16 points, Nebraska beat South Dakota, 65-48, in its opener. USC held its opponents to fewer than 60 points 14 times last season, while Nebraska accomplished that feat 17 times.
