Utah State player in critical condition after collapsing at practice
Danny Berger, the Utah State basketball player who collapsed at practice and stopped breathing, remained in critical condition Wednesday in a Murray, Utah, hospital.
The Utah State-Brigham Young game scheduled for Wednesday night has been postponed.
Zach Fisher of the Utah State Athletic Department said Berger collapsed on the court during a practice Tuesday, and that university athletic training staff performed CPR and used a defibrillator to get him breathing again.
Fisher said tests and evaluations of Berger are ongoing and that the school will release more when information is available.
