Tiger Woods on Tuesday committed to play in three upcoming tournaments, but not one of them was this week’s Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club.

Woods, who hasn’t played since his four-shot victory at the Farmers Insurance Open, confirmed he will be playing in next week’s Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona. Woods, who has won that event three times, was eliminated in the second round last year by Nick Watney.

Woods is also committed to playing the Honda Classic at PGA National (Feb. 25 to March 3) in Florida and the WGC-Cadillac Championship (March 7 to 10) in Miami.

“I’m excited to be playing in the Honda Classic again,” Woods said on his website. “It’s a really good tournament, and it does a lot for the community. I like the golf course, and I came pretty close last year. It’s part of a busy schedule for me and I want to continue playing well.”

Woods has not played in the Northern Trust Open since 2006. He is winless in 11 appearances at Riviera, including two as an amateur.

Woods’ victory at Torrey Pines in January was his 75th career victory on the PGA Tour.
