The Liberty and the Sparks are in third place in their respective conferences. The Liberty is led by Cappie Pondexter, who is averaging 17.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists a game. Candace Parker, who is averaging 17.4 points and 9.2 rebounds, matched her season-high in points (27) in Tuesday’s win over Minnesota.
