Watch 49ers Coach Jim Harbaugh in audience of ‘Judge Judy’ taping

Jim Harbaugh is a pretty quirky guy. Who could forget his appearance as Screech’s cousin on “Saved by the Bell” back in the 1990s?

So it should have come as no surprise to see the San Francisco 49ers head coach sitting next to his father, Jack Harbaugh, in the audience of Monday’s episode of the “Judge Judy” TV show.

A huge fan of the show, Harbaugh later told reporters that they attended the recording about a month-and-a-half ago. They also got to spend some time with star Judith Sheindlin before and after the show, eating lunch and playing cards (“She won,” he said. “No surprise there.”)

“She is so smart, she is so good. I could sit there and watch those cases all day. I really could,” Harbaugh said. “You know, it’s fun to watch somebody who does their job well. I could watch Judge Judy do cases all day, I could watch people [who] play football do their job real well.”

He added: “I get a real kick out of watching people who are real good at directing traffic.”

Like we said, he’s a pretty quirky guy.
