Update: The Mercury’s No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA draft, Brittney Griner, has a left knee sprain. Griner is listed as day to day and will be a game-time decision. The Sparks won their last game, against Tulsa on Saturday, 76-69. In that game, Kristi Toliver (21 points) and Lindsey Harding (20) led the team in scoring, and Candace Parker had a game-high 13 rebounds. The Sparks are leading the league in field-goal percentage (50%) and blocked shots (7.67). The Mercury is led by Diana Taurasi, who is averaging 18.8 points and three assists a game.
