Update: UCLA promotes every double-double by guard Kyle Anderson — he has 10 this season — but Cal forward Richard Solomon has averaged a double-double this season, 11.7 points and 10.5 rebounds. Solomon and forward David Kravish dismantled the Bruins in Berkeley last season, combining for 35 points and 21 rebounds in a 76-63 victory. The Bruins’ Tony Parker has the body to match up inside with those two. He is coming off a career-high 22 points in a 91-74 victory over Stanford. Anderson and the Bears’ Justin Cobbs are the conference’s top two point guards. Both average six assists a game. The Bruins shot 52% in the Stanford victory to shake off their recent shooting slump.
