--The Times’ Mike Bresnahan notes that the Lakers didn’t talk to reporters Wednesday. That’s perhaps a good sign considering Andrew Bynum previously gave the Nuggets bulletin board material by suggesting closeout games are easy. Bresnahan also reports that the NBA didn’t have a problem with the Nuggets having a laptop with them during Game 5.

--The Times’ Ben Bolch, however, says the Nuggets took offense that the Lakers’ whiteboard after their Game 5 loss read, “Pack for 3 games.” Denver read that as the Lakers are assuming a Game 6 victory before playing Games 1 and 2 against Oklahoma City in the Western Conference semifinals.

Tweet of the Day: “Watching Griffin and @cp3 get dinged up tonight emphasizes what the Lakers risk by coming out so flat Tuesday” -- ESPNLandoLakers (ESPN Los Angeles’ Brian Kamenetzky)

Rick Friedman Reader Comment of the Day: “Problem is trying to rationalize or making sense of a situation involving an individual that clearly shows off/on the court some dumb decisions and comments that point to “mental” problems and lack of respect.”

“When you make millions, and play for the Lakers, you ought to respect your fans, and come out and play like a professional. Enough of your immaturity, step out of your Zen’s books and face reality. Some of us have to work for a living, and get fired when job isn’t done. You are just lucky to be a 7+ footer. Enjoy it while it lasts.” -- GetAlong
