AFC notes: Steelers’ Landry Jones expected to make first career start

Baltimore: The Ravens are 19-19 since winning the Super Bowl in the 2012 season. Running back Justin Forsett has rushed for 333 yards in his last three games.

Buffalo: Quarterback Tyrod Taylor (knee) will miss his second game in a row, but running back LeSean McCoy (hamstring) might play versus Jaguars in London.

Cincinnati: The Bengals defense could get a boost in November with the return of the NFL’s leading tackler in 2013, linebacker Vontaze Burfict (knee).

Cleveland: Gary Barnidge is first Browns tight end with a TD catch in four consecutive games — including two last week — since Ozzie Newsome in 1981.

Denver: The Broncos lead the league with 17 takeaways. Denver’s defense boasts five players with inter- ceptions, led by corner Aqib Talib (three).

Houston: The Texans are 7-0 against the Dolphins. Houston ranks third-worst in yards per carry (3.5) and has yet to recover an opponent’s fumble .

Indianapolis: Andre Johnson needs 139 yards to move into the top 10 in career receiving yards. Frank Gore needs three carries to pass Fred Taylor for 23rd most.

Jacksonville: The Jaguars are playing their third game in London and signed an extension to play one game a year at Wembley Stadium through 2020.

Kansas City: The Chiefs punted on their first six possessions last week and turned the ball over on downs on their seventh. Alex Smith has been sacked 23 times.

Miami: Dan Campbell will try to become the fifth interim coach since 2000 to win his first two games. Miami ranks third in the league with 4.7 yards per carry.

New England: The Patriots have scored a franchise-record 183 points through five games and are on pace to score 586, which would be third in league history.

N.Y. Jets: Brandon Marshall has had 100 or more receiving yards in four consecutive games. Chris Ivory is coming off his first back-to-back 100-yard rushing games.

Oakland: Derek Carr has completed 96 of his 150 passes in the last four games for 1,110 yards, eight touchdowns, three interceptions and a passer rating of 95.7.

Pittsburgh: Landry Jones is expected to make his first career start after passing for 168 yards with two scores last week in relief of Michael Vick.

San Diego: Keenan Allen had 14 catches for 157 yards last week and is the first player with three 12-plus catch games through the first six games of an NFL season.

Tennessee: The Titans have lost eight straight home games. Zach Mettenberger will start for injured rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota (knee).
