Would the outcome of the NFC championship game be different if the Dallas Cowboys had played the Atlanta Falcons instead of the Green Bay Packers? Just ask Cowboys standout Dez Bryant.

The star wide receiver and pro bowler believes that the Cowboys are the “only team” that could have defeated the Falcons.

“I’m not being biased because I play for the Cowboys, but I think we’re the only team that had a shot to beat the Falcons,” he told the Dallas Morning News.

Let the debates begin.

The Cowboys’ season came to an end in a 34-31 loss to the Packers in the NFC divisional round on Jan 15. The Cowboys mounted a furious comeback to tie the game late in the fourth quarter, but Packers kicker Mason Crosby made a 51-yard field goal as time expired to send Green Bay to the NFC championship.

Dallas finished the season at 13-3, which was the best record in the NFC this season. The season was a huge turnaround for the franchise from its 4-12 last season, thanks to the dynamic rookie duo Dak Prescott and Ezkiel Elliot.

The Falcons play the New England Patriots in Super LI in Houston on Feb. 5.
