PHILADELPHIA Tony Romo fractured his left clavicle in Sunday’s game against the Eagles, and it’s an injury that will likely sideline him several weeks.

Romo went down in the third quarter, fumbling the ball away and having Eagles linebacker Jordan Hicks land hard on his left shoulder.

Romo immediately grabbed his shoulder and walked slowly to the locker room with the training staff.

This could become a season-wrecking injury for the Cowboys. Romo missed the final 10 games of 2010 when he had the same injury, and the recovery process was slower than anticipated.

That could be devastating for the Cowboys should he miss a similar number of games. Backup Brandon Weeden finished the game 7 of 7 for 73 yards and a touchdown.

The Cowboys offense is already missing receiver Dez Bryant.
