Charles Barkley says the worst thing you can do to somebody is steal from them.

Apparently it’s even worse than shooting someone, which is what the former NBA great said he would do to the agent who allegedly stole from him back in the day.

Speaking on Dan Patrick’s radio show Friday morning, Barkley brought up his one-time agent, Lance Luchnick.

“He stole all my money. He’s a scumbag,” Barkley said. “If I see him this day, I’d blow his damn brains out. I hate that SOB.”

Patrick gave the famously outspoken TNT analyst an opportunity to perhaps choose his words a bit more carefully. He really didn’t mean he actually would shoot the guy, right?

Barkley didn’t back down.

“If I could have a gun, I would,” Barkley said. “I probably won’t have a gun when I see him, but I’d probably beat his [butt] down like a dog.

“‘Cause that’s like the worst thing you could do [to] somebody, Dan, is steal from them. When you steal from somebody, you are saying to them, ‘I don’t respect how hard you worked for your money.’ When somebody steals from you, that’s what they’re saying.”

During the same interview, Barkley said he was leaning toward supporting Republican presidential candidate John Kasich after voting for Democrats “most of the time.”

“Black people have been voting for Democrats their whole life, and they’re still poor,” he said. “Republicans don’t do anything for poor people either. So I vote for the person I like the most and right now, it’s the governor of Ohio.”
