The Clippers had Saturday and Sunday off, days they were able to rest their bodies amid a long season.

But they got back to work Monday preparing for Wednesday night’s game against the Dallas Mavericks at Staples Center.

The Clippers will practice again Tuesday and have a shoot-around Wednesday morning.

The good thing about not playing for four days after beating the Lakers on Friday night is that the Clippers leave Thursday for a seven-game, 11-day trip that starts in New York on the coming Friday night.

“It was good that we had two days off for recovery,” Darren Collison said. “Now we have to get after it in these practices because we have a very good team in Dallas coming in on Wednesday, so we’ve got to be prepared for that. Dallas is a very good team.”
