Several Long Beach Poly High players used their day off school Wednesday to attend USC’s morning practice.

Included in the group was cornerback-receiver Jack Jones, a priority recruit for the Trojans.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Jones has made official visits to Arizona State and Texas A&M. His trip to Arizona State was the same weekend USC defeated the Sun Devils, 42-14.

Jones has said he also was considering Michigan and UCLA and that he would make a commitment on signing day in February.

A top player in the 2016 class, Jones has caught 42 passes for 837 yards and 11 touchdowns and has rushed for 79 yards in nine carries this season. He also returned an interception 25 yards and has deflected four passes.

USC sophomore receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and freshman cornerback Iman Marshall also attended Long Beach Poly. Both were considered elite recruits and each announced their commitments to USC on signing day.
