Guided sunset hikes

When, where: Fridays and Saturdays from July 6 to Sept. 1 at High Camp. Arrive at cable car at the end of Squaw Valley Road, Olympic Valley, at 5 p.m.; hikes are at 6.

Highlights: Take a cable car to the top terminal for sign-up; hikers catch mountain and sunset views and, occasionally, full-moon vistas; hikes are at a moderate pace.

Cost: $15, 12 and younger $5, includes cable car ride. No reservations needed.

“Power & Glory: Court Arts of China’s Ming Dynasty”
