Want to sleep a little better at night? Make a $10 contribution to the Los Angeles Mission and receive a $20 discount off a night at one of four Joie de Vivre hotels in Southern California.

The hotel group has partnered with a website called HealLA that rewards donors with discounts and updates them on how their gifts have made a difference.

The deal: HealLA provides an easy way to give and connect with local nonprofits in need of help. Donors can give $5, $10 or $25 and then choose a reward based on the amount of the gift.

In this offer, a $10 donation to the Los Angeles Mission’s Food Project helps underwrite a program that provides1,500 meals each day to homeless people in the downtown area. In return, you can choose a $20 hotel coupon or a $15 restaurant coupon good at four Joie de Vivre’ hotels.

When: Joie de Vivre rewards are issued for donations until May 25. Coupons must be used by that date too.

The fine print: The hotel coupon applies to stays at Hotel Angeleno in L.A., Hotel Erwin in Venice, Pacific Edge Hotel in Laguna Beach and the Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach. The coupon is limited to one per stay. The restaurant coupon is good toward the price of two entrees at these hotel restaurants: West, Zimzala, Hash and High. Coupons can’t be combined with other offers.

Tip: Check out other charities and rewards at HealLA. And really, the true reward is the good that your dollars can do.
